The type of post formatting used here on Marsia is UBBC. Here's a very basic guide to using UBBC. The buttons at the top of the posting area are very simple to use. They mean, in order (left to right) Bold, Italics, Underline, Strikethrough, Glow, Shadow, Move, Pre-Align, Left Align, Center Align, Right Align, Add Break, Size, Color (color select options to the right), Link to Youtube, Block Quote, Hyperlink an Item, Add Image, Hyperlink an Email, Add Table, Column, Row, Super Script, Sub Script, (I honestly don't know), Code, Quote, and Add List. If you have any questions at all on UBBC, I am here to help and will reply within the best of my abilities. However, please try to find the answer on your own before you come scampering to me~ (There will be a post coming soon for Q&A.)

hun i know your trying to help people but i read this and it makes me think you think other people are stupid (I mean it makes me think you think im stupid) x3 i know thats not your intention, but alot of the people who join sites know the ubbc things.. Maybe have a newbie board instead of guest board? Guests should have interaction however I dont have the boards set for guests to view except the rule area and the guest section so...
And for those of you don't change them back they are set to members only for a reason. Unless you want to get porn spamming the site. And i Will leave if this happens.

How about putting it in the Chat area or something, then Sticky it and make it look all nice and shiny, ready for newbies to use? State that it's meant for people who want to know more about UBBC or something.
I personally don't think it was insulting in the least -- but maybe it's something to do with the wording? I don't know, more opinion might be needed or something. but we should keep this thread for newbies to refer to, IMHO.

Rant: If you want to edit it, you go ahead. I know I had to spend some time with this thing learning it, so there are others who will need this.
