What is Marsia?
Marsia is a diverse, semi-advanced to literate Role playing game. Canids, felids and hyaenids are all welcome here. Canines such as the wolf, fox, African hunting dog, dingo, and coyote are just a few creatures that are played on here. So welcome to our part of the world, and join in the fun. Come on, you know you want to!
How many accounts can I have?
One, and only one. We like to keep the member count accurate.
What is this money system? And how do I earn money?
"This money system" is commonly known as Cowries amongst us Marsians. It can be used to purchase things from the Store, which would be explained in the next section. You earn them by posting -- but, that said, spamming will get you nowhere. You can also earn them through events, or by sucking up to a staff member being an all-round good citizen.
What's up with the Nightmarket?
The Nightmarket is where you can purchase items, additions and privileges for your character as well as for your account. Head over to the board and look at the catalogue for all the wares you can purchase.
What do the seasons mean for Marsia?
The seasons, in all world's mean the passing of time. Each season represents a type of weather, and with that comes breeding and birthing seasons. It is suggested that you take into account the season, and thus the environmental changes, when you RP.
What is the Breeding Policy?
Breeding is a natural part of life, so it is part of this game. However there are a few rules you will need to fallow, there is NO Graphic or detailed breeding. It violates the ProBoards ToS, which means that you may very well be banned from RPing on ProBoards' sites. We don't want that and we are sure you don't either, so just don't do it.
How many pups in a litter?
This is decided by the litter-size range of the species of the character. A rough guide to it would be found in the Essential Readings, under Species Guide. And usually, it wouldn't stray far from the "average" stated.
How long does a year last in the game?
Two weeks (in real life) is one season, there are four season's so a year is 8 weeks in real life. As such, breeding and birthing only occur once a year. Breeding takes place in winter and birthing in summer.
